Site Policies

Last updated: 15 February 2026

This page describes the key policies that guide how I publish, correct, and manage content on Lens Crafted Tales, as well as how I handle privacy and diversity on the site.

Publishing principles

Lens Crafted Tales is a personal website created and maintained by Masoud Ghanbari. The content on this site is centered on photography, visual storytelling, and reflective writing about images, moments, and creative process.

I primarily write and publish for people who are interested in photography, visual narratives, and slower, more intentional ways of looking at the world. This includes fellow photographers, creative professionals, and anyone who enjoys thoughtful visual work and personal reflections on art and everyday life.

The purpose of Lens Crafted Tales is to:

    • Explore stories through images and words in a personal and honest way.
    • Share experiments, process notes, and works in progress, not just polished results.
    • Offer visitors a calm, focused viewing experience outside of fast social media feeds.

All opinions expressed on this site are my own unless clearly stated otherwise. I do not accept payment to change my opinions, and any sponsored or collaborative work will be clearly disclosed where relevant.

Corrections policy

I aim to keep all information on Lens Crafted Tales accurate and clear. However, mistakes can happen, whether in text, dates, technical details, or descriptions.

If I become aware of an error, I will:

    1. Review the content in question as soon as reasonably possible.
    2. Correct the mistake directly in the original post or page.
    3. Where the error is significant (for example, misrepresenting facts, people, or events), I will add a brief note indicating that a correction or update has been made, along with the date of the change.

If you notice an error, you can contact me through the Contact page or by email and include:

    • The URL of the page or post
    • A short description of the issue
    • Any supporting information or sources, if relevant

I will review such requests in good faith and decide whether a correction, clarification, or update is needed.

Lens Crafted Tales is a personal site and does not operate as a news organization, but I still take accuracy and clarity seriously and will correct material errors when they are identified.

Ethics policy

Lens Crafted Tales is guided by simple ethical principles aimed at respect, honesty, and transparency:

    • Honesty in representation: I present my own work and experiences truthfully. When images are heavily edited, staged, or composited, I aim to avoid misleading people about what they are seeing.
    • Respect for subjects: When my work includes people or places, I strive to portray them respectfully and avoid content intended to demean, exploit, or harm. I do not knowingly publish content that promotes hate, harassment, or discrimination.
    • Transparency about collaborations: If I ever publish sponsored content, collaborations, or use affiliate links, I will disclose that clearly so visitors understand the nature of the relationship.
    • No plagiarism: Text and images on Lens Crafted Tales are created by me unless otherwise credited. When I reference or quote other people’s work, I aim to attribute it appropriately.
    • Personal responsibility: Decisions about what to publish and how to present it are made by me. I reserve the right to remove or modify content that no longer reflects my standards or that I consider inappropriate.

Diversity policy

Lens Crafted Tales is a personal site, but I still value diversity, inclusion, and fairness in the stories and images I choose to share.

In practice, this means that I:

    • Aim to represent people and subjects in a way that is respectful and avoids harmful stereotypes.
    • Do not knowingly publish content that promotes discrimination based on race, ethnicity, nationality, gender, sexual orientation, religion, disability, or any other personal characteristic.
    • Welcome feedback if a piece of content is perceived as insensitive or harmful, and I will review such feedback seriously and consider updating or removing the content where appropriate.

Because this is a personal project, I do not have a large editorial team or formal diversity quotas. However, I recognize the importance of diverse perspectives and aim to reflect that awareness in the stories I tell and the images I share.

I may update this Site Policies page from time to time to reflect changes in the site, in the tools I use, or in legal requirements. When I make changes, I will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Significant changes may be highlighted more clearly where appropriate.
