About

I’m Masoud Ghanbari, the creator of Lens Crafted Tales, a personal space where I explore stories through images, words, and quiet moments. This site is my ongoing experiment in seeing the world more carefully and sharing what I find along the way.

Who I am

I’m a photography enthusiast and storyteller who enjoys slowing down, observing details, and turning everyday scenes into visual narratives. Over the years I’ve moved between different interests and mediums, but the constant thread has always been a curiosity about people, light, and atmosphere.

Lens Crafted Tales grew out of that curiosity. I wanted a place that was more intentional than social media, where I could present images in context, with thoughts, emotions, and experiments that don’t fit neatly into a caption.

What Lens Crafted Tales is about

Lens Crafted Tales is where I collect:

  • Photo series and visual experiments that reflect how I currently see the world.
  • Short written pieces that sit alongside the images and give them a quiet narrative.
  • Personal reflections on process, learning, and the small details that often go unnoticed.

You won’t find everything polished or perfect here. Instead, you’ll see work in progress: frames I’m drawn to, ideas I’m testing, and ways I’m trying to balance technical skills with intuition.

How I work

My process is simple but intentional:

  • I pay attention to light, texture, and subtle gestures more than dramatic scenes.
  • I shoot slowly, usually with a clear mood in mind rather than a rigid plan.
  • I edit to support the feeling of the moment, not to overpower it.

Sometimes that means embracing grain, blur, or imperfections if they help tell the story better. For me, the interesting part is not just “what” is in the frame, but “how it feels” to stand in that moment.

Why I created this site

I created Lens Crafted Tales as:

  • A personal archive of images and thoughts, so my work doesn’t disappear into endless feeds.
  • A place to track my own evolution—how my eye changes over time, what I notice, what I ignore.
  • An invitation for others to slow down for a few minutes and look at the world a bit differently.

If any of the photos or words here resonate with you, then this site is doing what I hoped it would.

Beyond the lens

Outside of the images on this site, I’m someone who enjoys learning, experimenting, and questioning my own habits. I’m interested in how technology, art, and everyday life intersect, and I often use photography as a way to make sense of that mix.

Whether I’m walking through a city street, sitting in a quiet room, or traveling somewhere new, I tend to carry a camera or at least a way to take notes. Small observations often turn into ideas you’ll eventually see here.
